Dr. Wael Ahmed completed his MBBCh in Sohag Faculty of Medicine, Egypt in 1995. He received his master’s degree in Otolaryngology from the same university in 1999. In 2009, he got his Doctoral degree in Otolaryngology from Fujita Health University, Japan.
Dr. Wael has an excellent and impressive track record of over 23 years in performing various kind of major and minor surgeries in the field of ENT. He began his medical practice in 1996 at a Sohag University Hospital in his home country. In 1997, he continued his practice first as Resident of Otolaryngology, then as Assistant Lecturer of Otolaryngology in the same university until 2009.
Dr. Wael moved to the UAE and continued his medical practise as Specialist – ENT, managing all kind of ENT emergencies and OPD procedures including epistaxis, foreign body removal etc. He practises wide range of ENT procedures like nasal endoscopy, flexible fibro optic laryngoscopy, audiometry and tympanometry.
Dr. Wael’s areas of expertise are ENT emergency, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, mastoidectomy and tympanoplasty, septoplasty and turbinectomy, paediatric bronchoscopy and esophagoscopy, sinus operations, head and neck surgeries, hearing assessment for children and adult, electronystagmography, canalith repositioning procedures, and vestibular rehabilitation.
